Introduction to Agricultural Science
In this course you get to experiece a little bit of everything. You learn presentaion skills when you present the FFA creed, give speeches on agricutural topics and learn Parliamentary procedure. Plant and animal science are included. This class in in charge of food for america. Food for america is an event that the ag 1 class puts on for the children in the primary school to learn about animals and what they need in order to be taken care of.

 

Ag Biology
This class meets the requirements for biology in an agricultural context. Students learn about genetics, soils, ecology, forestry, and animal physiology.

 

Horticulture
In this class you learn about soils, landscapeing, floriculture, forestry, and presentation skills.  This class is in charge of the greenhouse and the plants produced.

 

Animal Science
This class is a college credit class worth up to 8 credits. You learn vet science, physiology, public speaking, meat science, food scince and marketing.

 

Agricultural Welding
In this class you learn basic welding and fabrication skills. Processes such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW are learned
