Feburary 22 thirteen Sutherlin students went to Junction City to compete in the Sectional CDE competitions. All of the competitors put in alot of hard work and for many of the members it paid off. Sutherlin will be sending six students on to compete at the State Convention. The advanced Parlimentary Procedure team (Adam Powell, Austin Powell, Jerry Risk, Jesilyn Risk, Tessa Knight and Jessica Warren) placed first place at sectionals. Tessa Knight placed second in Advanced public speakign and Jessica Warren placed second in job interview. Both of the girls will be going on to compete at the State Convention. All in All Sutherlin was represented well at Sectional Leadership CDE competition.
