Sutherlin FFA

Jake Erceg and Briana Tanaka, two of the Oregon FFA Association State Officers, visited Sutherlin High School today on their state wide leadership tour. Jake is serving as the Oregon FFA Association State Reporter and is from Phoenix, Oregon. Briana is from Union, Oregon and is serving as the Oregon FFA Association State Secretary. Briana and Jake put on workshops for all the ag classes, talking about how FFA is like a buffet and your plate is your life. You can go to the buffet or join FFA and put whatever you want on your plate or apply FFA however you want to your life. FFA is not limited to farmers, just like how KFC is not limited to fried chicken. All the students had a great time hanging out with Jake and Briana and also learned that we must be bold, and go for the blue and gold!
