Sutherlin FFA

The State FFA Soils Career Development Event was held in Sutherlin October 11, with 23 teams from across the state participating.  Sutherlin FFA teams placed 5th in the A Division and 4th in the B Division - a very good showing.  Well done to Jerry Risk (10th High Individual), Chris Clark, Aaron Davis, Juan Vazquez, Brianna Kats, Christina Moody, Ambrose Brower, and Trevor Taylor.  Also, congrats to Oakland for their 4th Place state finish!

Just the week before the Umpqua District Soils CDE was held in Elkton, with nearly 100 students and 6 schools participating. Sutherlin FFA results are below (students in bold); Sutherlin had 19 total students competing, with 16 of them placing in their respective top ten individual results.
