One disease is the osteodystrophy. When the pig has a failure of bone structure and metabolism due to faulty nutrition. Disease of the centre or modularly cavity of the bone. This disease takes a real toile on the pigs and humans. This occurs when your kidneys fail to maintain the proper levels of calcium and phosphorus in your blood another disease is vice. Osteodystrophy is a common thing. Some of the symptoms are: bone pain, join pain, bone fractures, bent bones, rickets, and delayed growth. Vice affects our economy, which is horrible. Vice in the dry sow is confined to vulval biting particularly in the last 3 to 4 weeks of pregnancy. That’s a major thing, were losing pigs by this disease. Another disease is colitis, and it means inflammation of the large bowel.
